Goodlettsville

Just 15 minutes by interstate 65 from Music City’s downtown, Goodlettsville is a great gateway into Sumner County. Although you may want to spend the day shopping at their antique district and the unique shops that line Main Street, Goodlettsville has much more to offer.

Spend time with the history of early Tennessee at Historic Mansker’s Station, a recreated 1779 forted station and the Bowen Plantation House, middle Tennessee’s oldest brick home. Living history weekends are held throughout the year. December’s Yulefest offers a unique look at colonial Christmas traditions, celebrations, and decorations.

Historic Mansker's Station is located in Goodlettsville's Moss Wright Park. The park has several picnic shelters, a large playground, and a scenic walkway that follows along Mansker's Creek. Each Labor Day weekend, you’ll enjoy the Bowen- Campbell Auto Expo featuring more than 200 autos from A Models to Street Rods.

Be sure to stop at Stu Phillip’s Long Hollow Winery. You might just catch the Grand Ole Opry star there singing or serving up samples.

For some great food and entertainment, check out the Long Hollow Jamboree. Enjoy their live country music and square dancing, an enjoyable time for the whole family.
