Fall is the time of year when there are many changes in Tennessee. Night-time temperatures drop, leaves become bright with color. Summer clothing is replaced by warm, snuggly sweaters.
As October comes to an end, football games, chili, caramel apples and Halloween are on the minds of some of us. Others are already planning holiday events and shopping. Sweet corn, juicy tomatoes, and other farm fresh veggies are abundant right now, so watch for roadside stands all over the area. If you’re just visiting or don’t like to cook, try the menus at some of our locally owned cafes and diners. You’ll probably find home grown items in their delicious recipes.
